Tips and Tricks part 1 - PATH, pipe to clip, and the Text To Columns feature in Excel
Watching Defrag tools episode 132, I learned a few small Windows/Excel tricks that I want to share with you.
In windows command prompt, you can type PATH to get the content of the PATH system variable printed to the screen:
In windows command prompt, you can pipe to the clip board buffer:
In Excel, you can transform delimited data in a cell to columns using the Text To Columns feature:
Say that you have marked a cell with comma-separated values:
Under the Data tab, choose "Text To Columns"
Now, follow the wizard:
