Speaking at SQL Saturday Copenhagen 2015
Speaking at the local SQL Saturday conference is an honor. Not only do you compete with all the great international speakers, but you also get recognised by the local SQL community as someone who can deliver. So thanks for picking me!
I did a completely new session called "WTF with SQL"
SQL is based on the relational algebra, right? Relational algebra is based on set theory, right? So we would expect SQL to kind-of respect common sense from set theory. Like A union A has the same number of elements as A. Well, this is not always the case with SQL.
Come and have fun when we explore scenarios of simple SQL statements, where I guarantee you moments of inner WTF.

Before the session, I asked the audience to count their personal number of WTF moments during the session, and did a quick poll afterwards. The WTF counts ranged from 2 up to 7, with most people having 3-4 moments, even the three MCMs in the room. So I consider the mission to be accomplished...
